Rooted in research

NeoMedSys started out in 2020 as a research project at CRAI, led by Jon E. Nesvold, in response to the identified need for better medical AI research infrastructure and methods for model deployment.

It was early identified that AI researchers spend a disproportionate amount of time on data handling and curation with little standardization between researchers. NeoMedSys aims to provide a common data structure, data access methods and data version controlling for more robust AI model development as well as easy access to trained models provided by CRAI to external researchers.

The project is continuously growing and now encompasses a sophisticated database system and MLOps at scale in a micro service with a user-friendly web interface for easy access to the growing battery of services provided by NeoMedSys.

Our team

We are a group of young international engineers with experience in ml/data/systems engineering as well as software design and front end. Our drive comes from working with exciting tech and working on medical applications that we believe can make a difference.

The team is very lucky to work closely with PhD students and PostDoctorates in medical research, doctors from multiple disciplines and a professor in medical physics that can support us with his many years of experience in the medical field.
